That’s a nice list, though, if it were a check list I’d probably get a “C”. I can’t imagine anyone using a wetnurse these days…Does anyone? I sleep/slept with both my girls from birth, and it was never a problem—smothering or squishing. It was convenient to night nurse this way, and I think they stayed warmer this way. We also put our bed on the floor, for safety and ease of their getting in and out.
I wish I had more etiquette to pass on, but I need to improve myself in this area as well…
I think this list assumes you are already a perfect Muslim, with manners

I felt overwhelmed by the list but in a really good way. I have my own personal list of things but I’m trying to take it one step at a time at the moment. May Allah help us do what is best for our children. Ameen
